Our Christmas Concerts will be live and in person this year.  As in the past, we are having three different concerts in order to be able to fit all of our guests into the gym.  The concerts begin at  1:00 and will be done by 1:45.

Our School Council is providing a pancake breakfast for students on Friday Dec. 22nd.  It will also be pyjama day for everyone.

As you are aware, Vera M Welsh is currently experiencing a respiratory illness outbreak.  We  continue to have over 10% of our students missing every day due to illness.  Once Alberta Health has declared the outbreak over we will notify all parents through an email.  Please feel free to call    if you  have any questions.

Remember to dress your kids for the cold! Winter has definitely arrived!  Students go outside for recess all the way down to –20 C so they need all of their warm gear for playing outside.
