Vera M. Welsh School believes that students must be able to listen, speak, read, view, write and represent in order to be successful in both school and life. Vera M. Welsh School uses a Balanced Literacy Approach and programming is designed to meet the needs of each student. Teachers provide individualized reading instruction to students through small group guided reading and writing.
