Thank you to our Parent Council for providing a wonderful treat for our students on Tropical Day!  We appreciate the work you do to support our students and school!

Valentine's Day is coming up soon!  We encourage our staff and students to wear red, white and pink on the 14th.  Students will enjoy classroom based celebrations.

The Scholastic Book Fair will arrive at Vera on Tuesday Feb 21st and be here until the 27th.  Please thank Mrs. Hamar for all of the extra work she does to provide this wonderful opportunity for our students

The Lac La Biche and District Music Festival is returning this year and is scheduled for mid April.  If you would like more information please visit the Lac La Biche and District Music Festival website.  

We are beginning to plan for next school  year. If you know of any families  with children that will be starting Kindergarten next year please   encourage them to follow Vera M Welsh on Facebook and to contact us at the school so we can  include their child in our planning.
