Our staff and students are working hard to prepare for our Christmas concerts and we would like to invite you to attend your child’s concert . As in the past, we are having three different concerts in order to be able to fit all of our guests into the gym. The concerts begin at 12:30 and will be done by  1:45.

Our School Council is providing a pancake breakfast for students on Friday Dec. 22nd. It will also be pajama day for everyone.

Vera M Welsh is experiencing a respiratory illness outbreak with over 10% of our students missing every day due to illness. If your children are not feeling well we ask you to keep them at home and notify the school to let us know they are ill. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.

Remember to dress your kids for the cold! Students go outside for recess all the way down to –20 C so they need all of their warm gear for playing outside.
