November Counselling Connection

Hello to the amazing parents of Vera M. Welsh....

As the chilly November air rolls in, it is a perfect time to think about the people in our lives that warm our hearts. Setting the foundation for healthy connections at home, is essential for building healthy connections at school. Modelling open communication, by allowing children to talk freely,  and spending time with your children without distraction, is key to helping them feel secure, loved, and valued. Encouraging your child with positivity will help them start the day successfully. Use the positive affirmations listed below, as a guideline. The more often your children hear these words, and feel their meaning, the better off they will be. Parenting is not an easy feat, but we are all in this together. At Vera M. Welsh, our school community is here to support and guide you and your children. We are all connected, we all belong. And we are here for you.

  • You belong here
  • You matter
  • You are worth it
  • You are important
  • You have a voice
  • You are valued
  • You are respected
  • You are loved
